Jennifer Lopez @ The Grammy’s (2009)

by Casey B on 1/10/2011

Hey Everyone!

Keeping up with the Grammy Theme, I recreated this look worn by Jennifer Lopez. It’s a gorgeous shaded neutral eye. You can tone down this look if it’s a smidge too much for you. Remember: The more shading you do (applying a dark colour to the crease) the more your eyes seem deeper set. In my opinion the more shading the better, depending on the event. It is all really a personal preference. I happen to really love this look because the shading really creates some depth and drama to her eyes. Smokey eyes never go out of style, and this is a perfect example of how neutral colours can be used to achieve sexy smokin’ eyes instead of the traditional black. Below are some photo’s of the look recreated. Also the tutorial if you want to know how to get the look yourself. And in case you wanted to know any of the products I used, they will be listed below.

I used three colours from the NYX S104 Pro Palette (Review Coming Soon!)
The first colour is a glittery champagne colour. The second is a matte medium brown. The third is a shimmery dark brown.
