Make Your Eyes Look Larger

by Casey B on 1/10/2011

Hey Everyone
Here are some of my tips and tricks that I practice and have either come up with myself or picked up along the way. Regardless, I hope that you find something that helps you! You don’t have to do all of these tips at once, you can pick and choose what you find works best for you.

·         Maintain your eyebrows. Cleaning up your brow line of stray hairs, adding a slight arch and filling in sparse spots are key to making eyes look much larger by making the eye area larger.
·         Applying a dusting of white shadow to the inner corners of the eye area really opens up and brightens your peepers by reflecting light.

·         For a quick eye opening effect, applying a thick black line creating an almond shape using liquid liner, pencil liner, gel liner or whatever you choose makes the lash line appear thicker making the eye appear larger.

·         Apply a white liner to the lower lash line and/or the water line. This extends the whites of your eyes, making them seem larger.

·         Avoid applying black liner along the waterline, and around the inner corners of the eyes, as this will make them look much smaller.

·         A Smokey dramatic eye really opens up the eyes and makes them appear larger. The dark crease gives the illusion of depth and the Smokey shadow extends the corner of the eyes.
·         Curl Your Lashes. This will lift up your lashes and open your eyes.
·         Apply a set of false eyelashes.
·         Mascara on the lower lashes really helps to open up the eyes.
